International Competition for Choreographers

Review of the 21nd International Competition for Choreographers on 7th and 8th April 2007

Just under 160 young choreographers from 46 countries participated in the 21nd International Competition for Choreographers. From the candidates the jury panel, consisting of Ed Wubbe, Jörg Mannes and Pierre Wyss, selected 18 choreographers to participate in the contest.

From the 18 short listed choreographers eight made it to the final round. The finalists were Loir Perela, Hugo Vieira, Joshua Monten, Jeong Lee und Sergey Zhukov, Eric Gauthier, Caroline Finn, Nadar Rosano, Daniela Megna, Thais Parreiras Martins and Daniel Proietto.
